About us:
Quickdraw Drafting, was established in 1986, to provide a building design and drafting service for builders, owner builders, developers and the building trades to document drawings and prepare Council applications for varying types of developments including custom individual home designs and home additions, units, commercial and industrial buildings.
Quickdraw Drafting services Gawler & Barossa Valley, Adelaide Metropolitan area, Mid North, Murray River area, York Peninsula areas and has consulted in the Flinders Rangers, Roxby Downs and 'APY' Lands.

How we do it:
At Quickdraw Drafting, we manage the documentation up to and including Building Rules Consent. The Client has complete flexibility to select an independent Builder to quote
on the design, or to Owner Build, using local trades or trades they may know....its their choice....Flexibility you may not have if you elect to have a Builder or Building company prepare your documentation, unless you have prior copyright approvals.
There are several stages in the preparation of the documentation, depending on the nature of the development and those stages have been set out on the following pages. By completing our interactive quote page or simply emailing a request for a quote, we can provide you with a cost and obligation free quote within 12 hours, which in most situations will be inclusive of all of the fees you be required to pay, subject to onsite confirmation. There are some site specific factors that affect the fees that we cant quote for at that stage, including referrals for buildings located in bushfire prone zones or the Gawler River Flood Plain zone and whether the site is serviced by existing sewerage.
In all cases, we prepare documentation required for planning and building rules consent in a staged process. Initially, we undertake an assessment of the development site to confirm the quoted fees, then prepare concept sketches, progressing to the preparation of the Development Plan Consent documentation. This documentation is then lodged at Council and the application fees paid on your behalf.
When we receive Planning approval, we prepare the building approval documentation and arrange for other consultants input, which when completed, proceeds to the approval stage with the Private Certifier.
We have access to Planning Consultants for developments that are non-complying or contentious in nature, which may not initially gain Provisional Plan Consent. Planning Consultants act as your advocate in negotiations with Council and/or Development Assessment Panels.

We provide a comprehensive 'in house' service to our clients to prepare documentation for Council Planning and Building Approval, for trades and Builders to quote for materials and labor and to build.
